That said, any input or advice is greatly appreciated from anyone who has gone through the "buying used evo" process!

FYI: looking for a '03 Evo that hasn't been inappropriately touched

I'd recommend having one of the local tuning shops(Strictly Modified, Boostin Performance, APM) look over any specific car you're looking at to make sure it hasn't been inappropriately touched and scarred for life by a previous owner. Maintenance history, accident reports, all that good stuff like you would with any other car.

Good luck finding one that hasn't been molested lol

 

if your in chicago GET A ALARM, get two put in. Just get a alarm as the first thing you do to your car trust me on this, to many polish kids have hott hands out here and no fear.

Welcome!! I know around Chicago its going to be hard to find an Evo that hasn't been beaten, a buddy of mine had a hard time finding one. The clean ones he did find were up for sale and sold in a day or two. Good luck bro!
