I have recently purchased a 2006 RR MR with only 14k original miles on her. Everything is completely stock and no mods or enhancements have been near this car. Because of this, I have found this to be a pretty rare find about now.
My question is this...
Should I keep her completely stock and maintain the low miles to maintain such a rare and awesome vehicle?
Do I slightly modify her to make her a little more spirited to drive? I.e. drop in filter, test pipe, mbc, and flash.
Or should I just enjoy all that she has to offer, immediately go with Buschur Stage 1, and begin the addiction that is to come?
I'm curious to hear others opinions. So what do you think?
Oh and here is a kicker for thought... The car has a reconditioned title. Doctor owned it before hand and let his brother drive it. While making slow turn in parking garage, he was not used to the turning radius or looking where he was, he caught a pole and dented the fender, cracked headlight, and cracked bumper. The owner was trading in the car soon so he just let insurance pay off the car. All parts were replaced by oem direct parts and all installed by Mitsubishi.

If you were to pick one mod go with a high quality Turbo Back Exhaust and tune. Really makes the car fun to drive.

If you decide to mod, I'd suggest a MBC, tune, and the exhaust is optional. Then stop there. You really don't need anything else to uncork the motor. Maintain the car and enjoy it for many years to come. Or, you can fall into the same trap as 90% of owners and fruck up your Evo by installing countless "mods." Good luck.Originally Posted by iceburg470
