It's almost time to join the family :D

So I've been lurking around these parts since 2008.. but having gone to college in Boston, there was no real need for a car (nor could an 18 year old afford insurance for an Evo ). Fast forward 4 years and I'm about to graduate.. landed myself a sweet job.. thinking of finally making my dream come true

What's your opinion on picking up a cheaper VIII and building it or just stick with a stock IX? I'm looking to spend around 20K after all said and done.

personally i say go with a IX, i just picked up a VIII after searching high and low. IXs are going to be a bit more$$ but worth it as far as condition all the 8s i looked at were over 100k miles and had been modded and beat on so IMHO i say go with a IX.

Yea I've been looking around and it's pretty hard to find an unmolested, low mileage VIII now..
