In terms of after market exhausts, for the most part, an uncatted STI versus an uncatted EVO, the STI will blow an EVO away soundwise. But stock, the STI is way too quiet.

This is beginning to sound like the debate between a V-Twin versus 4-cyl. sound debate.
Personally I like the sound of both. The low growl of the Subie, and the uncorked rasp. of the EVO.
BTW I would have the STi in my driveway if I had the monies...
