Need help convincing parents
I need help convincing my parents to get me an evo. I told them that
They can be purchased for 16000( I've seen a few on here) and that it's
A 4 door car so I can drive my siblings to school. If you can help me
Say things that will change there mind It would appreciated

I hate to say it man, but if it's a first car it's not a good idea, you didn't mention if it was or not so I'm just assuming and if you can't buy it your self I'd wait until you can.. The Maintenance on these things arent cheap and if you don't keep up with the maintenance you'll spend tons trying to fix it.. Not trying to be a *** but it's the best advice I can give from personal experience.

lol at this thread. how often do these come along and and how often does the OP get the slightest bit of help in accomplishing his stated goal?
1. if you need help buying an evo, you probably shouldn't be owning one.
2. if you need help talking someone else into buying you an evo, you probably shouldn't be owning one.
3. if you haven't searched this site for the other threads where this exact same question has been asked before... you get the picture.

Exactly what I would say.
This.
And this. Even if they do buy it for you; how do you plan on paying for the maintenance and insurance.. Oh and I can't forget the future speeding tickets.

OP, you did not mention your age or your driving experience. Owning a used car can be expensive, but more so for an Evo. Think about any repairs that may have to be done. And then there is the insurance issue. That alone should dissuade you from getting one. After that, think about the potential for moving violations, which would sink your insurance ship. Unless your parents are loaded and don't care about the expense, I think it unwise to get an Evo now. Save up your money and pay for your own insurance. When you can do that, get the car. Patience is a virtue...
I'll help since everyone else seems to wanna bash. Tell your parents that you want an Evo because its four doors and can haul around your siblings, at 140mph. Tell them that you can find one used, probably as a weekend track car and beat on everytime it left the garage. Tell them its a four cylinder and good on gas, until you switch to e85. Tell them its cheap to modify, so you can get lots of horsepower for really cheap and break some really expensive parts on the car. And on top of all that every honda civic that passes you will try to race you, but you won't give in to that muckery, right?
He cant just buy a 4 door car... His parents need to buy it
I wish you luck on convincing your parnents, but honestly evos are not cheap and require lots of TLC to maintain... Its like having a needy gf... Well, since I got my evo, I have 2
