new evo 8 owner

Hey guys, i just joined this forum because a friend recommended it to me since i bought an 05 evo 8 a few weeks ago as a project.

It has a 2.3 stroker thats tuned for e85 but theres no gas stations less than an hour away that sells e85 so ive been putting in regular 91. i went out to it today to drive it but it wouldnt start. it turns over and i looked at the spark plugs which are fine. Engine oil is fine and I've checked that all the wiring is plugged in and ok and it is.

is the problem because ive been using 91 octane and not e85?

Yes, You need e85. I'm afraid you just did some unfortunate damage to your engine.

Don't scare the guy^^

You defiantly need to get it tuned and not drive it anymore at all! Unless you get that pump gas out and put e85 in there
