Cool new to this...

EDITEDDDDDDD

Getting into the whole Mitsubishi scene. My old car was seconds away from death so I bought a 2012 lancer GT. Once this is paid off, it will be my daily. Then either the new Evo or a used Evo 8 is in my future

But for the time being... this is what I've got.

Not really modifying this tremendously. Going to make it more visually appealing and upgrade some performance parts. Saving for a house and investing in an evo once this is paid off.

So far I have:

Swapped my stock spoiler with the EVO x highrise SSS spoiler. (kept the original spoiler in case I ever want to go back to stock)

Rally Armour mudflaps (breast cancer awareness ones - black and pink)

Bought a Front Strut Brace since my car didn't come stock with one. But the 2011 GTS did (which doesn't make sense to me since the GT replaced the GTS) ?

Purchased a GG Evo X hood. - Plastidipping this until spring (f*** the snow and salt) then painting it WW at a friends body shop!

For the amount you paid for that brand new lancer you could have bought a used evo x.
Why pay way more for something that will never be an evo when you could have had an evo for less?

I wanted to do it myself. After i pay this car off, i am getting an evo, and this is going to be my daily. I wanted a new car and i paid no where near what an evo would have costed.

if you want an evo buy an evo, even with the loss on trading it in you'll still be ahead of all the parts you'd buy to make it similar to an evo.

I got news for you. that car can't be transformed into an evo. especially since all you wanna do is add exterior parts. quit being a ricer and buy an evo.

Or he couldve bought an RA Got mine new 24k total.. Financing at almost 20k. IMO I would never buy a used Evo.. the amount of money the transmission is and problems could cost me, I always buy new. You have no idea how the previous owner took care of it, or not took care of it. I've bought 1 used vehicle and never again lol

^ I am not a ricer. I don't just want to change exterior parts. I am going to upgrade performance parts as well but I am not going crazy into this just to have it as a DD in a few years. I just love the RA and EVO look. I wanted a ralliart. They didn't have any in white where I was looking. Almost traded the car in once I found one. But decided against it. Like I said, saving for a house. After I pay this off, I will get an evo, i am thinking of looking into an 8! Just going to do minor things to this car and learn as much as I can about evo's and evo modification until the day I find the right one

I don't see why you just didn't get an Evo to begin with and just DD it like most other people do. Why wouldn't you just do that and not have to have paid the money for two cars?
