starting to officially look for my first Evo!

Hi guys, I've been here for a few years just reading and browsing the F/S section. I am about to start Evo shopping for real and I'm excited. I used to have an STi and currently have an 06 Si Civic, but the Evo 8 has been my dream car for a while now and soon I will be financially stable enough to get one. My budget will be roughly 13-19k. Any advice would be welcome (yes I read through all of the newbie stickies already....several times lol)

PS: Am I the longest tenured member on here to never own an Evo? I have to be close.

Get an evo 9 instead of the 8. So many revisions to the 9 that it makes it the obvious choice

good luck.i looked for a month before i found one that i liked.take someone mechanical(if you aren't yourself) with you to look at them when you go.

best part about the EVO 8 is you can buy one that is already a beast for under 20k.i found one with huge upgrades making big power and got it a the same price as a stock EVO 8 would have been.
