This ^^ . Or get a MAP Short Runner. They've shown good increases even over ported stockers, but make sure you get the newer version from MAP that comes with a lifetime warranty. The older version has the anti-lag ports and tends to crack at the ports.

You mean exhaust manifold, I'm assuming. With a stock turbo set up, it's pretty pointless to go all out with a crazy manifold set up. A ported/coated one from buschur or any other reputable shop will work well and only run you around $300-400.

I have a stock manifold ported and coated by MAP Performance, for stock frame turbos, I think this is an excellent set up.

Are you wanting a tubualar manifold?

There are a few cons to running a Tubular mani on a DD.

Heat - More of it escapes into the engine bay, your basically gonna run into heat soak sooner, and that heat has effects on performance and your hood's paint.

Cracking - They crack easier.

If your your still dead set on a tubular mani, heat wrap it, but that will only make the welds crack sooner. Honestly I have seen some manifolds go for years DD, but others I have seen crack in a few months. And Im not comparing ebay junk to quality pieces. I mean the same brands.

There are a bunch of options. Tocix fab has a forward facing set up for one example.
If you're looking for bang for your buck power though, this is not the route to traverse.
An EVO 9 turbo would be a great upgrade.

+1 I've had to correct a few of my buddies on calling the evo manifold a "header" as well. With a stock turbo, going with anything else aftermarket won't give you much gains IMO.

You can get the map Porting and polished job for 350 but you have to send them yours or pay another little bit to just buy one of theirs and send your core in later I believe. You could also get it ceramic coated if you wanted.
