I dont think it can be done with a 20k budget. The turbo setup itself would be around 4k, twin or triple disk clutch around 3k. Thats about a third and I havent began to scratch the surface of the major stuff like a built engine, upgraded drivetrain like he wants, etc..

 

Weld the head to the block, 45r, 50psi, and a 500 shot. Maybe it'll hit 1k once or maybe it will melt into a pile of gew either way it would be fun to see

For a car you actually wish to drive except in a straight line for 10 sec of so or till your driveline is in a million pieces on the track. A 1khp Evo is well stupid

If you have a TT modena and SC corvette then money is no issue right ? Just take it to Buschur, Mellon, or Map and tell them you goals and you budget as simple as that. Weld the head to the block haha thats was a good one!

I'm confused here... why doesn't he just spend the 25k and get 800awhp from ssp? That should be enough.... and if its on a mustang dyno isn't that closer to 900 on a dynojet?? I don't see 5 grand or 100 HP being that big of a deal.

Lol, he could sell the Ferrari and buy several evos then duct tape them all together. He'll more than exceed 1000 awhp at that point

Can it be done.... Probably.

My friend has a pretty serious build but was in a lot deeper than that. It's just factoring in everything that gets expensive. My bud has a triple disc and it's still pretty streetable.

Turbo set up will run you easy 4-5k
Twin/triple disc clutch 2-3k
Fuel system (double pumps and 2000cc + injectors)
full stand alone
full built motor
built trans, diffs and transfercase and axles

Drive train mods will probably run you between 6-10k.
