whered I go? its not even worth responding. You people are a bunch of childish ****ing retards. Only a handful of you have even said anything worth reading. I came in asking for some help, and you stupid ****s just flamed me. SSP quoted 25kish to do it, so its not like my idea is impossible. Sounds to me like we have some serious haters here. And If I am stupid for asking about a stock feeling pedal from a twin disc, then ask Dave at SSP why he said it felt that way.

Seriously, **** you people.
It doesnt matter what forum I go to. i used to think ferrarichat.com people were ****** because They had money, but now I realize even the poor ricer ****s are ****** too.

Good luck living in your pissed off little worlds.

Sorry to break it to you but 25k isn't going to get you 1000hp, a twin disc feels similar to stock but will never hold 1000hp and you come in here acting like some high roller. Do research and talk to one of the major shops. Call AMS and tell them your goal and budget.

You can do 1000hp on a 25k budget but it won't leave room for much else.

And again 1000hp is not worth the hassle and it will make you car a missile and really not good for much else.

Oh and insulting a whole community isn't going to get you your answers. The reason why people are busting your ***** is because you come on here asking questions that could've been answered had you searched a little bit, your goals while possible attainable with some hook ups is not realistic and then you proceed to brag on vehicles you own that given your 1st impression here is a little hard to believe.

You're not going to win this battle.

Just search and ask smarter questions.

and again +1 dont come in here bragging about your supposed TT Ferrari an sc vette and ask us right off the bat if your going to have a shop do it anyways i think the question of hey guys im doing a 1000AWHP build through a shop can you guys recommend some then you may get the answers you look for but bragging about your $$ and asking about a streetable 1000AWHP Evo allot of us are gonna look at you like your F*** Nutz and in answer to some of your questions talk with STM, AMS, ER, those are some shops i feel like can really help your goals and thats just a VERY SMALL list do research and decide good luck with your goals on 20k and yea im sure it c an be done but with that power you don't think things will break really fast and your gonna have to spend more so i would dig deeper in the wallet and dont cut corners with any of this

I think the QM will hold close to that power level, the new one is not crazy hard to drive. It really all depends on what tq you are making. I would not do a 2.0 at that power level unless its a drag car.
A 2.3 is allot more fun to drive around town out of boost which you will be doing allot with that large of a turbo.
E85 and 6766 should get you close with a **** ton of boost.

Suggestions du jour.

For starters, take some time to type clearly. There is an old addage in the HAM radio world that people will respond to you with the same cadence, tempo, tone, and language you start with.
when you start have very internetishlanguage that runstogether and u can't understand much because of the content followed by lots of spaces shortened words no spaces between sentences.it gets rather hard to understand what ur trying 2 say and how u mean to say it.in fact i not get teh tone of if a statement of urs is supposed to be from the sentence before or from the sentence after.things just run together over and over and over and over again.if u want an intelligent answer, i suggest it starts with your ability to be intelligent in a forum.

Second this board is rife from chest pounders that just because they put down words they should be fully trusted, believed, and given equal rights to those that truly have been here. You are not the first, you will not be the last, you will not be given preferential treatment. Well over 1/2 of the work you seek can already be found in the search function. Even leading us with a few intelligent questions will set you apart from the herp derp you're trying to climb above already.

I'll stop there for now on the Internet lingo statements.

Let me explain something else regarding cars in general. There comes every so often a car that defines a demographic, or generation. The Evo is best likened to the cult classic Porsche of the 90s. It is one if not the iconic driver's platform of the mid-2000s.

As an example, when Nissan brought out the GT-R, did they compare it against a Subaru? Did they compare it with super cars? It was compared against the Evo X. The Evo has defined itself as a car that for the systems that were put into it, it did it really really well.

Regarding your original post, yes the 2.0L can take on 1000hp. Yet the Evo platform is much more than that. I also suggest you find out what more it really is.

Judging by the first post I'd say you are not ready for a car with 500 hp more less 1000hp.

It takes a lot of work and do not even bring the word street car and 1000hp in the same sentence it's just not feasible. I mean you can drive it around on the street but after a few miles in stop and go you will be begging to get out.

If you have to ask how to build a 1,000hp car then you are not ready and you should just stick to the basics.
