Welcome! It's definitely the nicest looking car you've had (IMO). Will probably be the quickest too (not sure how quick your 335i was tho).

Welcome, I'm from Warminster but I'm in NE/Feasterville every Sunday. Glad your liking the car. How do you like it compared to your previous rides? I think there's an autox going on at citizens bank park.

Do not do a Megan racing downpipe. As far as I know they don't make a widemouth DP, so it won't net you any gains. Just go for a Catback, I wouldn't suggest Megan, and a tune. You could also get a high-flow cat if you need to keep the cat in the exhaust. You could do a drop-in air filter too..

What DP do you recommend? I had all COBB on my STI and with a pro tune I put down 297 / 345...

Im liking the car so far its not too bad stock.. the 335 was pretty quick on the highway and not too bad light to light. probably a little faster then the stock EVO but Im hoping to surpass all my previous cars with this EVO modded

The AMS piece is awesome. ETS is nice too. MAP if you want something a little cheaper.

Honestly, the downpipe doesn't add a ton to the X. Catback, testpipe or highflow cat, 3-port boost controller, and tune will net great gains. The X's downpipe is really short and the only downpipes you can see gains are the downpipe/O2 combos.

there's no gain from a widemouth either, it's the tune. Your stock turbo can't outflow even the stock downpipe.

You'll find the X is significantly more mod responsive.

Here's a quick rundown of the BS-filter for X ownership:
1. stock turbo cannot outflow the stock downpipe or stock cat. You do not need to replace them to run up to Cobb stage 2. You will gain sound and sound only.
2. only restriction for stock turbo is the stock muffler and boost pill
3. wideband is highly recommended
4. OEM plugs are fine
5. you can run E85 on our stock fuel pumps, lines, and filters. You do need injectors and a tune however
6. stuck fuel pump flows 240lph. You don't need to upgrade to a 255 on stock turbo
7. You can safely push about 360whp and 375wtq on stock internals
8. a better 3 port boost solenoid is recommended
9. Don't use an MBC or EBC, they both override the ECU's control of boost. The ECU can make on the fly adjustments for temperature and pressure based on your tune, other options cannot.

I just saved you thousands.

1. Uh, there are gains to be had on the stock O2 housing.
2. Cat, upgraded intercooler piping, intercooler, etc. also flows much better..
5. As far as I know, some lines need to be switched to run E85 because the lines will get eaten up.. Stock pump can also get maxed out on E85..
