save some dough and just let your car run for a few mins, or just drive easy for a mile before turning it off. Under 3k rpms. Get a gauge or something first.

Thats not modifying guys - thats accessorising, like your mrs does when she buys new shoes.

First Mod would have to be freeing up the exhaust, followed by intake and aftermarket computer, then boost.

Boost gauge, exhaust, MBC. Don't get an intake unless you are buying a A/F adjustment/piggyback/reflash with it.

If you don't have a boost gauge, you don't even know what's going on. Most important "mod" to do first.

There is no need for an intake... dont waist your money. Just get a drop in and call it done. As far as the turbo timer not being a "mod" meaning modification. It is exactly that a modifacation on how the car normally operates. It is also imo an essential item on any turbo vehicle. Espescially for those people who dont have the time to sit in there car for a few minutes after driving. I could put money down and say that the people without a TT hardly ever actually sit there everytime anyway.

Do anything except the turbo timer first. Do the turbo timer last or never. You can do the same thing for free by driving easy the last 2-3 miles before your destination and it doesn't add hours of runtime to your engine and doesn't use up expensive premium fuel. If you lack enough self discipline and maturity to do it yourself then go the crutch route.

LOL, how much fuel do you honestly think your car uses at idle?

Good info guys!

When you all say exhaust what does the trully mean?

Cat back, Headers, Cat, DP ?

Or just the Cat back?

I wish people would say FULL exhaust. But on this car I don't even know what that means.

Full exhaust (from the turbo dump pipe all the way to the tailpipe) is the ideal solution however if you can't afford that exhaust change from the cat back will yield good results anyway. In fact some people will tell you that if you don't plan on upping the boost or doing intake/computer mods that cat-back is all you really need to do.

Headers are mucho expensive for turbo cars - price a set of Zero Sports headers and you will see what I mean. Headers aren't really necessary until you are running out of other things to do and REALLY want to make maximum power; for most people headers aren't necessary.

Think long term! Go for a staged upgrade with a good shop. Don't jump all over the place or you will be lost.
