What was I thinking?

I have been living in Japan (Okinawa) for 2 years and just recently traded my... well "mom car" (as my buddies call it) for the EVO VI, no complaints... whatsoever, not even one. This car is absolutely amazing. This vehicle has easily turned into my dream car.
Now that I have owned it for a few months I have decided to start making some repairs and add in some extras (finally paid off!). I have been browsing the forums a while now, and glad to finally be a participant.

I am definitely behind the learning curve here, I have never been into performance cars before and certainly not into, as I used to call them, "rice burners" shamed for saying that. That being said, I really have no idea what mods have been added to the vehicle (aside from the obvious, intake, coil overs, BOV, EBC). It appears to be in very good shape but the previous owner was more concerned with aesthetics (some mechanical issues I'm not fond of have arisen). Ultimately I would love to get into tracking it unfortunately it will have to be my daily as well.

I just rethought about that post and felt the need to correct myself for the "rice burner" comment, I know every EVO owner on here is BRUTAL . I used to be a ignorant hick who owned a jacked up truck and tractors, there I said it. I beat you to it. Carry on.
