Newbie Question

Hello my name is Zach and I've been doing a ton of reading on this site to get ready to purchase my first Evo. There is a ton of excellent info on this site and I appreciate all of it. Here comes the question:

I noticed that I need 15 posts before I can start a new thread in the classifieds section. I was thinking about how I was going to try to make up 15 posts so meet this requirement but in the interest of trying to keep this site clean and organized I don't think that would be a good idea. I have searched any questions that have come up and don't know how long it would take me to make 15 posts as I generally like to just read and not post a lot. I would like to make a WTB ad to hopefully locate an Evo for sale close to me here in Albuquerque NM or even in neighboring states.

Thanks!

I would not suggest that.

Post-whoring won't get you far. 15 posts isn't much, read the site, contribute where you can, and you'll have 15 in no time.

I don't post. It's that simple. All the information I could ever want or need is already here. I don't understand why that is so frowned upon but thank you anyway.

Its to stop people for post whoring in for sale if they are not vendors. Also if you read the rules and FAQ's these posts don't count. It needs to be in relevant threads.

It was a joke. I read the rules completely and am not new to forums. I understand that the rules are in place to avoid useless posts but that is exactly what it will create if I'm forced to post 15 unnecessary questions or comments in the technical section when all the information I could ever need is there for me to search already. If you would prefer, I could act like a bunch of other newbs and ask which BOV is best but I doubt that is what you want haha
