Hello guys

I have created an obsession with the 8 and 9 for but i do not really know what the trim packages are like besides the SSL. But what "models" were avalible and what differed between them?

Pretty sure the Evo VIII

GSR
MR 6spd
RS

I'm pretty sure the GSR had the steel roof while the MR had an aluminum roof with a 6speed tranny... Pretty sure the RS was bone stock no power options no moon/sunroof.

if anyone else wants to chime in feel free. I don't know a whole lot about the IX

 

So the GSR is the one to get in regards to the VIII?

is the MR the only model with the Snow, Gravel, Tarmac "Settings"?

 

Any with an ACD has those settings.

Also, GSR's are the only ones with the option of the sunroof as the alu roof with sunroof was not an option.

RS no xenon headlights, basically a race car, no sound deadening either.

MR- 6-spd, bilsteins, BBS rims.

Again, you could wikipedia lancer evolution and read up more on the US spec cars.

 

Definitely read the thread somebody posted in here earlier on. It's a great read and will get you to know the differences between all the models and what each one has. Good luck!
