Exhaust

Anyone have experience with any of the hks catback exhaust set ups? I am really looking into the greddy TI but its hard to find someone giving it up for sale, and costs 1800$ brand new lol. So i think ive decided to settle with either the hks ti or hi power unless i do come accross a greddy TI for sale.

Just need some peoples opinions on the hks high power catback or the carbon TI thanks.

A cat back exhaust isn't worth spending more than about $600. Can't go wrong with HKS but I love my Buschur Race exhaust

Hm yeah seems that a lot of people go with the buschur any particular reason? And as goes for hks I've always been a loyal customer but the only real difference are just the tips between the ti and high power correct? Other than that same power and gains?

People go with the Buschur exhausts because they make an excellent product and are dyno proven. Plus the Buschur system definitely has its own unique sound that is pretty kickass on the EVO. And yes the HKS should be very similar in power output. But EB9 is right, go turbo back for your exhaust the difference is night and day.

I'm sold on the Tomei Ti.
I put a full system on and picked up 45whp without a tune on the same dyno within 2 days. It fits perfect, lightweight and sounds good. Try to find someone in your area with any exhaust and ride/drive it.

Yeah no cat back is gonna give you much of any gains at all. It's the down pipe and test pipe that will definitely open up some power.

Def get a downpipe and test pipe (or at least a high flow cat) for best power gains. The HKS Carbon Ti has a pretty awesome and rich tone that is all its own.

Yeah the extreme ti is listed as 10.69lbs on Tomei's site. Which saves you 25lbs over stock.
