I dont have a evo 9 but from everyone posting is seems that the choice is usually between the gsc s2 or the kelfords. Not saying that others aren't good options, just that the two I mentioned seem to be the most popular ones and for good reason they make power.

Well I have an Evo 8 with Kelford 272s and personally I love my cams, idle is somewhat rough with these cams since their very aggressive. But for the 272s their the best on the market hands down and even compete with the GSC S3s. Top end on the Kelfords really show a difference in power than any other 272s thus why I stated best on the market. I believe AMS did some dyno numbers showing the difference on the 272s i.e. comparisons. Check'em out in the search tab area!

I got my s2's through maperformance for 561.00, but then you also have to buy an upgraded valve spring for these, so your probably looking at 800+ depending on if you get just springs or springs and retainers.

I would go with the Kelford 272s or the GSC S2s

Used Kelfords I think are around low 400's I believe, I got a great deal on mine being brand new less than 400 bucks. That'll be the same with the S2's also, so with that being said check out the For Sale thread that we have on here. That'll give you a better idea on what people are asking for on here which usually turn out better than online places.

Hope that helps! If you go with the Kelford 272s get the Dual Super Tech Valve & Retainers
