Has anybody else seen this car for sale?

I found this Evo IX for sale and it seems like if you had the money to fix one up this would be the way to go. I hate to see a car in this kind of shape. From the looks of the interior it is a rare SE trim level. This could potentially be a very good car if fixed up and for only $15k and 60k miles you could do a lot with it.

Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on this car. I'm not looking to buy one soon, I'm just curious.

Not worth it for the cost of what seems to be broken.

It really depends on the title. A car with a salvage title is worth considerably less for resale purposes because banks generally will not loan money on them. I am sure that is fixable, but a shop will charge quite a bit to fix/paint match everything.

Yeah that would be a perfect car to pick up and fix with a light front end hit like that...but the price is way too high. Besides welding in a new core support everything else is a pretty straightforward fix.

It depends what happens with the title. If it ends up salvage, good luck selling for even 17k if at all.

I agree with the above.. 15k is too much.. Especially if it a salvage title, which I doubt, but it's still a possibility..

Frame damage looks bad. Re welds and parts gonna cost more than what you can sell it at. I agree with slim Jim. I picked up my gg Evo at 42k miles only salvage because of rear bumper damage only for 17k. ;p

Everyone else seems to have hit the nail on the head, I definitely agree. The car seems to have too much damage for the price that they are asking. There are several thousand worth of repairs just to get the car back into a proper state.
