New member I have always loved the evo. it just so happened that this week I came accross this "decent" mr. I decided it was time that I get one for myself and to give it a home that would respect the car it had as the previous owners were not the kindest. its dirty and rough on the edges.

I did buy it knowing 6th gear was gone.... every time i put into 6th and push the gas even slightly it kicks it out... I am planning for "jacks Transmission" to put a 5 speed swap in it for it reliability.

like i said its the first evo but I already know that its going to be a fight between me and my wife whos it is lol which is okay by me.... just means shes ok with modding lol.

anyway tell me what you guys think, I will have more pics coming this week

Nice car and glw the car and thats awesome that your wife is cool about modding the car. My wife isn't going to fight about driving my car, she hates it and always asks when I'm going to sell it because its loud and obnoxious.

ya shes pretty sweet about it actually.

She hates the honda as it is a black hole an really, what bb6 prelude isnt. but she really really likes this car.
plans are going to go
spend the next couple weeks getting all the stuff missing/broken
take the car to NIP & TUCK performance in orem utah to install a jacks tranny with... thinking exedy clutch.
then hks hi power exhaust

for sure it blew me away honestly. ive been working on the prelude for so long its nice to see her want to do this.

1st part: just ordered muteki lugs for it.

could use help on where to find the carbon fiber trim that is on the outside of the doors. will post a picture later.

 

okay I need a little help, Im not sure if this is the best place to add, but any help on part numbers or where to find them would be fantastic


this is the drivers side rear, stock mud guard i guess. it was not there but its on the passanger rear.

this is the rubber guard on the bottom of the front bumper, this is the only piece left... would like to get a new, used one



this carbon fiber trim on the doors is completly sun damaged and want them replaced

motor is good. tranny is not. not surprising in the 6 speed. Plan to have Jacks send me a 5 speed swap
