New-ish evo owner

So about 3 or 4 months ago I decided I would finally start looking for a lancer evolution 8 since I had wanted an evo or sti since I was about 16 back in 2006. I was looking for an 8 even though I preferred the 9 just because I didn't think I could afford the 9. After about 3 months of searching and wanting to give up hope because they were all either out of my price range, had too many miles, or were just plain beat on or modded stupidly I found an evo ix mr with only 61,000 miles on it 20 minutes from my house. The morning after finding it on auto trader I was at the dealership looking at in in disbelief , the salesman told me it had arrived the day prior and had not even been washed yet. At first I could tell he didn't really take me seriously and thought I was just trying get a joy ride but after a while he let me take it out. About 5 minutes into the test drive I knew I was buying the car, I had not even gotten a price on it yet. So after about 4 hours of showing the guy non mr evo 9s for about 20k I got him down to around 19k from the 26k they had it at originally. About another hour later they got a bank that would give me a loan without a co-signer and then the car was mine. Unfortunately I had to wait about 5 days for it to get looked at and tuned etc. but eventually I was there to pick it up and drive it off the lot. I got about a week with the car then had to fly back to ny to visit family for 2 weeks... longest 2 weeks of my life.

So that is my story sorry it's so long I just wanted to share with everyone on here a little about how I became a proud Evo IX owner. Now I am just trying to finish paying off some medical bills so I can hopefully start modding the car soon.
