looking to buy this 9
looking to buy this 9
Hey
Found this evo 9 mr on the net, looks clean, but it has 95,000 miles. Thats the only thing that worries me about it.
I havent looked at it in person as of yet.
Would appreciate it if you could give me your opinions.
Thanks.

I have loved my mr since the day i ordered it... I suggest you drive it before, our cars tend to be abused... I also recommend getting a pic of the engine bay or check it out to see what other ghetto **** the owner did... Idk what they were thinking with that gauge... Anyway. Other then that the price is a tad high in my opinion but i guess since its mostly stock it ups the appeal a bit
yeh that gauge is kinda crapp, it defiantly looks like a quick DIY job
, if i end up having a look at it ill have a damn good look in the engine bay and listen for any tranny/ T-case issues and see whats up.
Upside is it looks mainly stock, but it could have been put back to stock, i dno, will wait and see.

Have seen better for the same price or less. Personally I'd avoid a dealership, most of the time they have no clue on what the previous owner did and/or don't care and just want the sale. I'd look on here, drive a few hours if you have to get the one you want but find a legitimate seller who knows his car like the back of his hand. That's the one you should buy.
That A/F gauge... wtf?

are you really in the UK? if not then i'm seriously considering letting mine go for 36k... i know thats the price new but my car seriously has been reworked... very very few oem parts still remain. and there are 0 miles on the build... my cams just came in from piper today... so in the next few weeks it will be finalized and once its up and running i will decide if its time to move on or not... however money talks...
