Evo against skylines(performance)

How would you compare evos to skylines, preferably the VII/VIII/IX vs R32/R33/R34? Strictly performance wise on all levels.

IMO, the CT9 platform is better than the R32/3 platforms. Stock the CT9 is a not as good as an R34 GTR (and GTT as well) but a few light mods to the evo can give the GTR a run for it's money. But mod the GTR and it will respond extremely well and will leave the evo dead in the water.

I was looking for a decent priced GTR the same time I was looking for my evo, but the evo presented itself first. I would have loved a GTR but I never would have been able to keep it long term, but with the evo I don't have a foreseeable sale date.

R34 GTRs (built around 1999/2000) here cost around twice the price of a cheap evo 9. R32/3s are similarly priced around 2 thirds the cost of an evo 9.

This question isn't so great. The r32 GTR V spec came out in 93 or 94.....the ct9a came out in 2003(viii atleast). 10 years worth of upgraded technology.
If you were to compare a r32 against a evo of the same era, its way different story.
The r33 is garbage in my opinion.

I dont agree, i consider the FD RX7 a far superior car to the evo and it was produced in 93

I fail to see how a rx-7 is superior. Its a different beast. The evo has technology, the rx 7 had well engineered turbo system. The fd was so good because it made 275hp with only 2500 lbs. Is it a much superior car because its lighter? In fact, the only thing that was advanced on the rx7 was the sequential turbo system, other than that it was a lightweight lsd rwd car.
