Hello every one. I just joined the forum. I picked up my Lancer LS on Friday and I love it already. Just wanted to say hi.

Although the specs on the all of the trim levels are about the same there were a few things that make me choose the LS. One, I didn't like the hub caps on the ES and the fact that it didn't come with color-keyed mirrors. I personally think the OZ is a tad over rated. I mean the only options you can get on the OZ are the white gages, ground effects, OZ wheels, and the OZ badge. I couldn't convince myself to pay extra for things that really didn't matter to me. Hope I didn't offend anyone.

BluAngel93, sounds like you live pretty close to me And I'm gonna have to give you two thumbs up on the LS over the ES and OZ.

 

Congradualations, I just bought my brand new Oz Rally on Friday also.

 

Bluangel- I agree there's not much of a difference, but there is a little to me. For instance, the LS only comes as an auto, and I need a 5 speed or I'm cranky. Also, the little things do make a little bit of a difference, like the interior...black seats, black dash, brushed aluminum trim...white gauges, etc., that do not come as an option on the LS. I guess it's all a matter of opinion and what exactly you want your car to have. Anyways, welcome to the forum.

 

I Love my OZ Rally, it came brand new off the show room floor with Black and Red Leather interior (racing seats), with White face gauges with red glow behind them, body kit (not the greatest but something), racing tires/rims, and floor mats with oz rally racing logos on them and the seats. The Leather seats also have Oz Rally Racing on them. Looks sweet, check out my profile for the pics I took pics of everything on the car.
