I put cruise on my MR, the Rostra kit. Best damn thing I've done to the car, and I've done quite a bit. It's not as good as a factory cruise setup, but it works well enough for me. I have a 30 mile mostly highway commute every day to work and back. Not having cruise would suck.

I bought the kit from LancerShop I believe. It was around $250 and took about 3-4 hours to install. The most and really only difficult part IMO was getting the cable attached to the stock throttle cable. Once that's done, it's pretty simple wiring you need to do. Sometimes it doesn't like to resume properly, but that's the only problem I can think of off the top of my head.

Agreed. But nonetheless, nice car. And just for reference, I just picked my 05 RS up for 23,895 out the door. But it only had 14,412 miles on it. I don't think you overpaid though.

 

Beautiful RS!! Doesn't look like it has that many mile on it. Simply for aesthetics..I would add an SE lip & JDM rear. Good luck and treat her well

Nice find dude. The Evo IX RS is sooo sexy, especially in rally red. I very rarely see rally red Evo's, especially the RS model. if i'm not mistaken I believe the Rally Red IX RS is the rarest Evo to come to the US (someone please correct me if i'm wrong). anyways take good care of her, and she'll take good care of you. the RS and the SE are my too favorite Evo's. I bought which ever clean, low mileage one I found first. fortunate for me it was a one owner, 40,000 mile Evo IX SE
