Whats up EVOM!?!?!
Whats up EVOM!?!?!
Well about 3 to 4 weeks back i bought a 2010 EVO X GSR in PB WITH 45K MILES (

). Still under the factory warranty and carmax's warranty. So im good with that, but im torn between mods and my warranty. Im wanting to purchase the 3700 buck AMS package and a garret GT3071R plus my buddy tuning it. Im wanting to get around 550 to the wheels.
Question's
1. Will that whole set up produce what i am looking for?
2. Will it be reliable and not require a lot of maintenance?
3. What drive train mods will i need if any to accommodate such power?
Oh and yes i know that will void the warranty for sure. Im still torn on doing it or just saving the parts and waiting until my warranty is up.
Thanks, and merica
rules!!! (lol)

Not much help huh?Can you elaborate on the carmax warranty? How long is that for? At 45k you no longer have the Mitsu bumper to bumper warranty and about 15k left on the powertrain. It's really all up to you. You pretty much stated the two options. Leave at stock or mod and risk the warranty.
For me, mine will stay stock until warranty is up. I would also like to pay off the car before modding. But I have had a few issues with Mitsu and warranty work. They denied my Eclipse at first and it is completely stock. And I question Mitsu's build and quality. They make a pretty solid engine/tranny but the rest of their cars are pretty cheap IMO.
Its really up to you. Maybe wait until you have accumulated the additional 15k miles and then mod after that.

I asked 3 questions that no one has yet to answer. That's why I said not much help.
The carmax warranty takes my car up to 100k mile but if i decide to mod it they said they would pro-rate what i paid for the warranty and return it to me.
So im at a cross roads with the warranty. But ive already become accustomed to the power and it feels as if its not even there anymore, which sucks. So of course i want to mod it now. lol
