Just Bought my 1st Evo- 2006 RS

I had a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer ES and recently sold it,
I have a 2006 Mitsubishi Ralliart that my twin brother drives

and I Just Bought my 1st Evo yesterday, it had 59,800 miles,
I think i overpaid but i love the car, Its my color RED and i bought it from a dealer with brand new tires and the 60k service was already done, the Car was super clean and the carfax was clean and the car was well maintained. i paid $22,700+tax and title

I also bought a 2 year 24k Mile Full warranty for $2200 and $600 warrenty for tires and dents and dings for $600.

Ill post more pics when i get the chance to its Dark out and I will tomorrow.
Not sure what i want to do to it 1st, i want a evo wing and i want Cruise Controll as well. Give me some ideas thanks.

That's a pretty good deal for a nice clean ~60k 9!!! I'd pull the trigger for $22k!

That's about right for a clean IX RS. Evo's are hard to find, and if you get a clean one, it's going to cost you. Don't regret it.

Great car and Great color. enjoy

by the way: am sure the dealer ship sold you a third party warranty that if you mod anythihng on the car or if the car is already modded. it void the warranty. I did that once with my black evo and the warranty company F me big time.

Be safe and stay on 4 wheels

Congrats on the purchase and I also think that 22k about right for a clean RS with 60k. On a side note I recognized your screen name from Halo lol.

Congratulations on your RS. Whatever you do, do not drill holes into the trunk in order to mount the wing. I am sure you could find a Evo trunk with a wing for cheap on here.

Congrats on joining the RS club!

Enjoy it and be safe. Although in stock form its great, exhaust/mbc/tune will add a nice bump for minimal work/price.

And like another mentioned, try to find another trunk lid so you don't have to disturb yours with holes. My opinion: keep it wingless!

Anyone know what it's like when the wheels lock up without ABS on an RS? If I take out the ABS fuse on my 9 it gets pretty squirrely if I go past that threshold, surprisingly nervous and violent for a daily driving emergency situation. But maybe that's my rotors/fluid or the nature of a temporarily disabled ABS system.
