New evo owner
Leased a '13 WW GSR about a month ago. Loving the car so far and have been lurking the forums here since I decided to get it (convincing the spousal unit took some time).
This is my first manual transmission car, haven't smoked the clutch yet
Got the car to have something fun to drive again, I've been through 98 mustang gt convertible, 99 F150 Lightning (miss that truck a lot), 08 VW R32 for cars that were "fun"
Anyhow, looking forward to joining in and getting more familiar with my new car. Already trying to figure out a way to convince the wife to buy out the lease so I can do some minor mods!

Leasing let me do two things:
1) As this is my first manual car I liked the idea of committing to it for only 2 years
2) The special Mitsu was running on GSRs helped in my convincing the wife since the payment was more agreeable to her (not an affordability thing, she just has certain opinions on how much a car should cost).

I say stick with the lease for now and see whats up with the evo XI....if its not up to snuff then buy out this one later on....I'm pretty sure everyone will hate the XI just like most ppl hated the X for the first few years
Actually, given how much I'm enjoying the car, this is sort of my plan. The rumors on what the XI will be put everything into a wait and see perspective.
