Hey guys

I've been a long time 2g Eclipse GST owner... which had a ton of tasteful mods. It was my baby but it all ended on Oct 2010 when a lady ran a stop sign while texting and t-boned me. Car was a writeoff, no matter how hard I fought to keep it.. my insurance wouldn't allow me to.

Searched for 2ish years for another clean 2g DSM and couldn't find one anywhere (I live in Canada). A deal popped up for a 2010 EVO GSR that I couldn't refuse. It's my first AWD car and man... what a difference.

I realize I have a ton of reading to do about mods, which I'm meaning to get to once I find the time. This community is a LOT bigger than the 1g/2g board (ca.dsm.org) which I'm apart of. So I'm still lurking around trying to figure it all out

Currently the car is stock but I do want to do little things within the next year. Things like the suspension, wheels, intake and exhaust. Though from what I've read so far... it isn't as simple as bolting them on and going for a drive.

Some photos

Probably when I figure out the first few steps on how to go about it. However I want to keep the mods at a minimal while I save up the $. Evo parts are quite pricey when you compare them to a 2g DSM lol!

Do I need to get a tune after everything I do? Like can I toss on an exhaust and just enjoy it? or do I need to get the access port installed, and find a e-tuner to help me out?
