I had heard of people getting factory leather seats for their OZ Rally Lancer. I asked my dealer about them and he said that the Evolution (or whatever is coming out next year) is the one that comes with the leather.
I want these seats! Can my Mitsubishi dealer get them for me?
Also where is the cheapest place I can go on the web for aftermarket products for my lancer?

 

The leather package is an option you can get through Mitsubishi for an extra $1100 or so.

Run a search for aftermarket parts..
There are various threads in here that will give in depth specs on certain parts for the car.

 

That's really odd. They had a few with leather seats on the lot I bought mine at. The one I test drove was leather (personally I prefer a cloth interior because it holds you better in turns when you're racing, it doesn't get as hot, and it doesn't crack due to heat).

 

Why would you want leather? They're so uncomfortable in the summer

If you want a nice seat for your Lancer I suggest getting some Sparco or Recaro seats. Mix that with a 5 point harness and you're not gonna move around at all. (They're cheaper than the leather upgrade too)

 

stupid dealer prepped lancers.. i passed by the local mitsu. dealership and they had a lancer with the leather package..sunroof..and 17" chrome rims. i was pissed!

 

Now I couldn't find one with a sunroof, he offered to cut me one in the car for about 1000$, but to hell with that, don't need one that bad right now.
The rims I saw, but I didn't like them that much.

 

why be pissed? im sure you paid no more than $17k for your OZ, so you financed (assume no down payment for 0-0-0 deal) $17k over 5 years. well, if you buy the "tricked out" Lancer at lets say $19.5K now you are paying interest for 5 years on $1.5k worth of mods that you could have just saved up for.
