Hey all...
Hey all...
Hello everyone, my names Colton im currently living in New Mexico getting ready to change my major to mechanical engineering after getting my degrees in Criminal justice.
I have always had a soft spot for evos, who can blame me, I started out with a mazdaspeed6 that I built from the ground up with a gt30r, then came my fbody camaro making 415rwhp and then after selling that I bought a miata that I stanced out and was in the process of welding a turbo manifold and downpipe and running a td04 off a wrx when i decided I would buy a new car. Currently I am driving a 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth; factory garrett turbo, koni suspension, etc etc. However I have owned the car 3 months and ahve already had to bring it to the dealers so many times its making my head hurt.
I decided I wanna get rid of the Abarth and an evo is perfect for any weather nm can throw at me both rain and snow
It looks like I will be purchasing either a 2003 Evo 8 with 140k miles with 1 prior owner BONE STOCK electric blue for 10k or a 2003 Evo 8 where i will be the 4th owner, this one was 120k miles an injen exhaust and intake new timing belt, water pump and rebuilt tranny to get rid of the imput shaft bearing noise .
hardpiping for IC and new radiator and new clutch. This one in silver for 11k
I am having a tough time deciding which I would rather have the electric blue is a clean title but has been in an accident once but insurance repaired it.
The silver is a clean title and never been in an accident however I do know what ppl say about buying premodded cars especially evos.
Any opinions would be great!
Cheers
Colton
