Major Dilemma
Major Dilemma
Hi all,
This is actually my first post on the forum. I was a semi frequent poster on IWSTI when I used to have a 381whp/391wtq '05 STi. The Subaru was becoming a serious money pit so I traded it in for a 2010 EVO X SE. At first I loved it, but I've only had the car for about 5 months and I am already sorely missing driving a stick. It is an impressive machine but it's just not the same. If there was a GSR available in STL when I was in the market for a new car I would have done that in a heartbeat. Now I'm already contemplating selling it, but I may just buy a beater for a while because I would hate to pay sales tax on another sports car so quickly. If only it was simple as going to a dealership and doing a straight up trade for a GSR instead.

I am guessing you don't actually race? I can't imagine anyone wanting to downgrade transmissions if they race. I understand that's sometimes fun to shift gears, but having a (manual) clutch doesn't do anything positive for you.

you can try trading it in or after 15 posts try to sell it here. there were only a few X SE made so that can be a rarity in the future. search for the thread about SE and they are actually making their own numbered ones.
