Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I've been wanting another Evo for a few years now and just bought one a few weeks ago. I have had a wrx, s13 silvia, (5) 240sx's with various motors, 2500 Cummins diesel. Since I got rid of my evo 9 Mr. my life hasnt been the same haha. Now I’m back on track.
Only issue is, the motor is bad (no compression on #1 cyl.) and I assume its a broken ring-land. Time to build the short block, but I don’t know what route to go.
I’m not looking to make big HP, I just want 375-425hp. This build needs to be reliable because I plan on driving it every day (10-150 miles).

Advice would be great:

* What’s the best/reliable shop to build my motor? I’m capable of building it but don’t have the time like I used to.
I’ve been looking at Jack's Transmission shop, AMS, Buschur racing, and MAP Performance... Which to choose?
