Just bought an Evo!

I just drove 12 hours round trip to pick up a new 2014 MR. I was on a waiting list with a deposit for a CLA45 AMG, however that wait was just extended to at least June of next year... Needless to say, I got my deposit back and drove to King Mitsubishi in Gaithersburg, MD. I think I have every option except, thankfully. Chrome mirror covers. Names Jeff.

You made the right choice. The evo x mr has way more potential than the cla45 amg, handles better and almost half the price. Evo x mr can be made to be a gtr and porsche turbo killer for under 10 grand. I doubt the cla45 will ever have that potential.

Also, I want to point out that I just sold a 2009 FBO 135i. Now, that IS an entry model car for BMW, but I have to say this about the EVO.. The interior fit finish and matirials are just as nice or nicer than what I had in my 1'er. I do have absolutely every option, so that helps.

Nice! I also went from a BMW (e46 M3) to an Evo MR (all the options like yours). I have owned it for 2 years now and don't really miss the M3 much at all. The Evo is a great car.

Half the price of a CLA45 AMG? The CLA45 AMG is approximately $47-48k.

I would have at least test drove the CLA45 AMG before buying the Evo. The CLA is a classy, luxury, sports car. The evo is just a sports car.
