The EGT numbers amid greatly depend on where you mount the sensor. I think you want it as close to the head as possible.

Yes, true. It can vary @ 100* if you have it placed on top of the exhaust mani versus the bottom. The top will be hotter.

I measured the wires and used a power supply with terminal 15 (power only when key on)
I installed the fuel pressure sensor into my fuel rail. The oil pressure and temp should be taken by the oil filter.
Hope that helps

Thanks for all the help and advice! I definitely think I will be using fuel pressure instead of coolant temp. I may get a single A Pillar mount for coolant temp!
Thanks again!

This is my set-up to give you an idea of what the AEM gauges look like using a 42 draft design mounting plate.

For me these make the most sense in this order:

1. Boost
2. A/F -Wideband
3. Oil Pressure (You only need an idiot light for this, really. If pressure drops, it will be rapid and usually not when you're eyeballing a gauge. You just need to know when to put two feet in and kill the motor to save it.)
4. EGT
5. Oil Temperature

Thanks! I'll be using the first three, and maybe as I get further into modding my car I may put in some additional.

If you're going to get an idiot light for the oil pressure, you can use a Zeitronix set-up to activate the light when the pressure drops, so you don't need a fancy gauge.

I looked up idiot lights, and couldn't find one? (Does this make me the idiot? Lol)
Could you shoot a link my way?

Thanks. Only thing I don't like about the AEMs are that the LEDs only come in red. Wish there was a way to convert them to blue to match my HU and HVAC. I was looking at the lancershop one as well- I may switch out one day, but I can see them with no problem the way they are now.

My head unit changes colors, and my hvac is stock. I don't mind them being red, they'll stick out. I just ordered them today and am super excited!

Awesome, thanks!
Do they not come stock with an oil light? I don't really want the zeitronix setup. Just seems like more than I need, honestly.

There might be other solutions out there, you're just going to have to do some of that research yourself.

Have you looked into Innovate gauges at all? I currently have their wideband in my dsm. I definitly prefer it over the AEM wideband. I've had both. The Innovate unit reads much quicker and has a wider range. They also have a digital boost gauge and an oil pressure/oil temp in a single gauge. I think they're a bit cheaper than AEM as well, but not much.
