I'd think he'd asked a legit question, just glad I'm not a newbie anymore, you get dumped on just for being new to the site. Anyway, my first mod was rims, I personally feel stock wheels look like bicycle tires.

damn people are so sensative the only reason he said that was this question has been asked by EVERYONE on this forum so if you use the search button you will find page after page or first mods. Just do the basic bolt ons header intake exhaust. Check out Roadracemotorsports.com they have everything.

I hate to say it but the reason you got a bad response was because every couple of days someone new comes on the board and posts the exact same question without searching or browsing through the forums. I got flamed when i first came here .. its kinda like an initiation .. lol .. don't stress it. However, do read alot of the posts and look at past posts (pages 2-10 in each forum listing) and you will find alot of your information has already been asked/answered. No worries

my first mod was a stereo system, then test pipe and then intake. It really depends on if you want:

1. Sounds
2. Visual appearance
3. go fast mods

1. New CD player and speakers, maybe an amp and subs
2. Body kit, or wing
3. Exhaust, intake, RRM piggyback ecu

check out the following site for information on parts. RRM carries about everything short of rims and body kits,

www.roadracemotorsports.com

Also review the Vendor Classifieds forum. It has some good content for sales and new products.

First of all, if people offend you on this site, that's your bad. Second, if you are not a newbie, then you know how to use the search tool. This topic comes up on a weekly basis for people that just got their Lancer and found this site. Try Road Race Motorsports, they have everything for the Lancer.

true, he probably should have used the search button first, but if you see a post that's already been posted 50 times, you gotta go out of your way to respond with a comment that does no one any good or is even pertinent to the topic, that's not necessary. Anyway, sorry shouldn't be using thread to respond to this.

hey man

personally my first mod was subs - but then i ditced the sound and went with a short ram intake, followed by a catback exhuast then headers.

I am planning on soon getting new rims and springs and then hopfully turbo. Good luck and hope you enjoy your first mod
