As stated these can be funny/infuriating so here is one and hope this thread gets creative/funny.......


So as you drive along and pass another vehicle with an attractive/hot woman and you get in front of her just so you can glance at her in your rearview and.........you can't cause the STUPID wing is in your direct view................talk about an epic fail

 

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem with their evo, but my annoying quirk is:

when it snows and the snow sits in that front vent on the top of the hood. When the engine heats up, the snow melts and turns to steam and it pours out of that vent and the sides of the hood and people always flag me down to tell me my car is on fire :/ That gets annoying.

 

how low and intrusive the rear view mirror is that i have to bend down when turning corners to see pedestrigoons...

 

Maybe you're just too tall..

 

It's kind funny when you give the car a little gas and people people tell you at the next light that something must be wrong with the car because it blows out alot of black smoke. (testpipe)

 

when people ask me why I drove so slow on the freeways.

Quirk as in untuned evo?

 

Hands down the most annoying thing is people see an evo and the idiots must think to themselves "let me go tailgate this guy, then swerve around him at 100mph. He must be in race mode" I have no other explanation for the stupidity I see on the road...and this comes from anything from bmw's to scions to ****ig SUV's and the absolute worst VW and Honda. 90% of the time I'm with my 2 babies in the back seat.

I would have to say when you are breaking and Washer fluid comes squirting out. Everyone who ever saw this in my car just thought it was hilarious. Glad i fixed that problem.

 

My car is bone stock (no problems either), and I remember when I first started dating my girlfriend way back in 2009, she was driving behind me and I stepped on the gas, and she called my phone, frantically telling me that my car was just spewing out dark smoke, and she thought it was a problem.

But as far as quirks:

* Stupid temperature knob doesn't ever go where I want it to go (aside from when it is clicked into the coldest position)
* Constant Austin Powers-style three-point turns everywhere I go

That's pretty much it though. I went wingless for around half a year, and while it was cool to have more of a view, when I put the wing back on, it didn't bother me at all.

 

The driver side pillar is so thick compared to my other vehicles, I feel like I'm always trying to look around it, its a blind spot for pedestrians when I'm turning.

Of course the wing is right in the middle of my rearview mirror.

Revving the engine and it taking a while to drop in rpms sucks sometimes, but tapping the clutch helps it drop faster.

No Washer Fluid Empty Light! I found that out the hard way just last night.

I'm 5'7 so I can't see over the hood or shoulder check over the recaros unless I sit on a seat cushion.

Power windows are loud

Ummm that's all I can think of now, but I still love my stupid Evo!

 

When I get in my car early in the morning and heading to work. My Tire light comes! I check the psi and they are all fine. It just freaks me out because if I do have a flat tire I will be late to work....and that's a big no no.
