New to the boards... apparently
Well I could have sworn I was a member on here years ago, but apparently not so I figured I might as well introduce myself.
Well I'm from Columbus, OH and spend a fair amount of time in cleveland. I am not new to this platform, but in the past I was primarily focused on the DSM platform. I have owned many different years and models of dsms and countless setups from stock appearing turbo setups, to holset builds and had a small stint with a gt40 setup, so as far as the logistics of this platform I am fairly competent.
The one thing I hope to really learn more about is the open source tuning, as I have always been one to tune myself. I had very good results when using DSMlink so I am excited to dive into the open source tuning capabilities of this platform.
Currently I daily a mazdaspeed6 which is great for my everyday needs, but I have been itching to get back into something that could be fun on the weekends. I took a break from the car scene in order to get done with school and get my career in line and I am finally in a place in my life where I have the time to tackle a new project and have the financial means to do so. I am not decided if it is going to be a IX or a X as I don't really know much about the 4B11, but I am definitely excited to be getting back into the game.
Well thats all I have for now, looking forward to learning some new things and hopefully I can help out some others on my way.
