People who drove automatic said that CAI doesn't fit w/o some changing the shape of the piping...only short rams will fit onto autos

for the auto go with the short ram. You would have to do some modifications to put the cold air in. I run on a short ram from rmr. I love it, the sound and everything. with the exhaust you definately feel a small increase in performance. By the way i have an auto.

here's an idea, why don't u get the short ram intake. and then possibly get some kind of flexible exhaust pipe or some dryer hose (ghetto rigging) and then just run it from the front and then just point it in front of the filter just to help redirect cold air.

The only company that makes one for the Auto is Injen... Yes this has been discussed and yes it's been beat to death... Search better next time cuz I know I asked myself if anyone knew of another company that made one for the Auto...

I think your first mistake was getting an automatic... But, yeah I have been told that it takes some custom modifications to make that fit/work. Good luck though. Let us know if you find some other way.
