But whether you lease or finance, it's still a really pricey car these days, especially when you don't get the 100% base model without any extras, though those are pretty rare to find, since most dealerships order theirs with a number of packages and options. I went to a local BMW dealership here in Orange County after both a friend and I got big promotions at our jobs (since she was considering replacing her 2002 Honda Civic, though I was just tagging along), and damn near everything there was $55,000 and up. There was even a 335i there that was almost $80,000, and it wasn't even marked up or with any dealer-installed parts.
