Hello, buying my first VIII tomorrow, looking forward to advice from you all, I'm sure I'll need it.


About me:
I am a medic in the U.S. Army. I have been driving a 2001 Mustang Gt for three years. (First car I bought, not drove) Evo was the first car I wanted but couldn't afford it at the time.

Will be my daily driver from here on out.

Have you had a mech check it out?

I would at the very least have a compression test, boost leak test, check all the spark plugs, etc...

Thank you for your service and if this is the one you will forever have a love/hate relationship with it. lol

 

I did not have a mech check it out, I had some good advice from mechanics, the previous owner did have a compression test at 50k its at 70k miles now. So I do plan on doing another one.
