Just posting up an intro. Long story short, married, two kids, one of them brand new. Did 5 years in the Navy, learned a lot but don't miss it. Currently working as an engineer in NY.

I had a mazdaspeed 6 for a few years until last summer when I traded it in to get my wife a new volvo to have the little ones in. I'm finally in a place where I can have whatever (within reason) car I want, and make it whatever I want, as loud as I want. I've always drooled over the evo's, even when I was content with my speed 6. Now that I'm in a good place, I hope to finally get my hands on one. Looking forward to learning a new platform!

To be honest I never even knew there were the subtle differences between the 04/05/06's etc so I'm still researching a bit. Haven't latched on to any personal preferences yet.

 

I always loved a Grey 06 Mr. I found an 06 Sti though and ended up getting it. Now I just sold it and got into a new Evo x. Make sure and drive both the older and newer Evo before you buy one. Unless you hate the body style of the x. It had a pretty nice interior compared to the older Evos
