Looking for a new lancer, ralliart, evo...

Hey whats up guys, I'm new hear and am looking for some advice. Im 21 and I'm on my third car and looking to move to my fourth. I started out with a 2006 honda civic HFP for my first car then I sold that and bought a 2010 v6 camaro which I loved but ended up having to sell it for a variety of reasons for which I then bought a new 2014 ford fiesta a few months ago and have just been slowly dieing inside from the lack of power.

So now I am looking into Subaru Impreza, wrx ,sti and Mitsubishi lancer, ralliart, evo. I really want something with a turbo for the power boost/ cool factor. I've always loved turbos and so now I need to find how I want to go about obtaining one. I have 14 grand and one of my biggest concerns is insurance price. Ive heard the eve and sti are just killers when it comes to insurance so which is why i set my sights more on the wrx and the ralliart edition lancer which both have turbos and handling upgrades but not the giant price tag of the evo. What I was also thinking of buying a lancer with a blown engine or something and doing an engine swap or getting one with a working engine and adding a turbo.

Conclusion: For all those too lazy to read... I have $14k what is the best way to get a fast, reliable evo: Lancer+engine swap, Lancer+turbo, Lancer Ralliart, Salvage title Evo?

Buy a used built Evo 8 laying down 400whp+ with a big turbo. Be ready to fix stuff. But it's the cheapest route.

For peace of mind you have to spend a lot more or put physical effort into building up something cheaper yourself. If you need 100% reliability and have no other cars, stay closer to a stock ride and lightly mod it (but keep money in the bank).

If you are willing to buy a Lancer and turbo it - why not save the $ and just turbo the Fiesta?

For $14K you may find a used Ralliart...
