Need some advice please!

Hello

I am currently driving a 2009 AWD Cadillac CTS. While I enjoy this car, there are many things I dislike about it, and I cannot see myself buying another GM product ever again.

I am currently looking into the next car I want to buy, and I am torn between an IX evo, or a Nissan 370z.

I live in Minnesota, and this will be my only car, so obviously the EVO has an advantage when it comes to winter driving.

Has anyone on here owned a 370z and an evo? and can compare them? I was also considering a STI but I think that I like the looks of the evo, and I have heard that they are more capable of performing better.

Any advice would be appreciated. This has been a tough choice so far.

Just a stupid question but if this is going to be your only car... Unless Nissan changed it thought the 370z was RWD..

That might help your decision..

My buddy had a 350Z and he got rid of that quickly. It's purely a roadster-type car. Nothing practical about it whatsoever and I can't see anything being different with the 70Z. The Evo can be, and is, a very practical car if mostly stock. 4 doors, AWD, spacious trunk, easy on the eye. They never did have good gas mileage but it's not terrible if running pump gas. Fun car. Nice interior if you get a Evo 9 or swap in the interior from one like mine has. Throw on some winter tires and you're good to go. Subaru isn't a bad choice either for a DD winter car. If my ex-wife ends up buying my leased Jetta off of me I'm going to look into an older Audi S4 or an older (mid-2000's) WRX for a DD/winter car.

Yes it is RWD and that is the biggest factor in my decision right now.

I am kind of a sucker for creature comforts, and I know the evo doesn't have many of those. It isn't the biggest deal in the world.

Kind of a random question, but can anyone tell me the quality of the audio system in the evo IX?

stock audio system is not that good but changing the radio is pretty cheap now. evo is definitely more practical between the 2.
