Ok, Mr. Newbie here...

I've been all over the User CP section, and I can't find the place where the number of forum posts is... I'm anxiously awaiting the ability to use a 'custom Avatar', and I'd thought that I'd already posted enough messages to be above 'Newbie Status'.

I guess I'm wrong - unless the number of posts doesn't include replies? Is this correct? Do they have to be 'new posts', or do replies count too?

just click on your name, it'll open up your profile which includes info about you and the number of posts you've made. just so u know, any Off-Topic thread posts do not count toward your number of posts.

 

So, if I've got 21 posts - as it tells me I do - why does it still show "Newbie" under my name? Does that change later? Can I use a custom Avatar now?

...by the way, Bobaab - thanks! (Hey, is that your real name - I remember the name Baobaab from an episode of the cartoon "Droids"...)

 

Now you currently have 22 On-Topic posts now. For your own custom avatar it requires at least 15 posts.

Only forums that do no count posts are Off-Topic, Photoshop, and Regional Forums.

Statuses are broken into groups like this:

Newbie - 0-44
Evolving - 45-399
Evolved - 400

 

LancerEvoMR - Not to post this as an Off-Topic Post, but THANKS! I got all the info that I need, and that is great! (Just changed my Avatar as well.)

...and now, to stay "On Topic" and become "Evolved". (Hmm, the first three letters is "Evo". Coincidence? I think NOT!
