I used to own an '09 Lancer Ralliart that was heavily modified and tooned by Baka @ 5150... but that went up in flames, quite literally.....

How did the X manage to catch fire?

 

We're not quite sure at the moment, we're thinking that a fuel leak of some sort caused it to spontaneously combust. The insurance looked over the engine and said there was no hole from a rod blowing through it... we still to this day have no idea what happened for sure. but i'm just happy to get out of that alive and be able to still drive an EVO

 

Interesting, so insurance covered it hey? That's awesome!

Yep! Insurance threw it up to "fire damage" and gave me a check... took them a week... extremely fast
