are Evo guys different?
are Evo guys different?
To spend so much time on small 2 litre turbo cars, I see most here are DIY people doing stuff not normally done by the general public, most young guys don't know how to work on cars let alone perform tunes and change engine parts. And most older guys are usually driving around in some family type 6 cylinder soft sedan.
So as an Evo guy do you feel different from everyone else you know?

DIY is what separates the car people from the posers. Ferrari, evo or a scooter it makes no difference to me. if the person doesn't do they'r own work i couldn't care less what car they own. That was never impressive to me.
However someone spending years to build a crazy street machine takes not only money but commitment, skill and time. This is what I love to see. It really isnt about the car. So no, "evo" guys arnt any different than other car owners. It's the owner that defines the car, not the other way around.
The legit owners are easy to Spot too, it's the cars you rarely see, maybe once or twice if your lucky and they don't soak in stares as other drive by. Then you have the poser who drives every day, taking constant Instagram pics just to boost his/her esteem. These people are laughable.

Haha sooo where do I fall? My evo is my dd so I guess that makes me a poser...but wait I do all the work on my car, race it on the weekends and don't use instagram...hmm I'm stumped...daily driver, so poser it is

I daily drive my car at least over 1k miles a week and love it,
I even when sitting in dead stop DTLA traffic and bored out of my mind. I also post pics of my car as much as I want because it's my dream car. I work on a lot of little thing but have zero patience or time to do big things.. Guess I'll
be joining the poser club as well!
