Oil Change questions

Decided to get my oil changed with only 550 miles on the car, the reasoning is because i've been aggressively driving it along with adding new parts, i figured there wll be some shavings in the oil and mitsu says 500 miles is the break in point so i think from now on ill be good for another 2,000, is this normal? I didn't bring jt to the dealer because of the aftermarket parts i have on it. Should i have waited? btw oil i used was the Mobil 1

You should have waited until after the break-in period to drive aggressively.

you need to ensure you take good care of your evo. you need to appreciate your car. i don advise driving it aggressive especially when it is brand new. just looking for trouble if you do. take it easy.

Besides what everyone else is saying (which is true) good that you did the oil change. Once you start moding you might want to look into other options on oil besides Mobil 1. Its ok but there are better options to run. Did you notice a lot of metal shavings? Just make sure you are not getting a lot after the first couple changes or you may have a problem.
