The way I see it, evo X might be a bit more comfortable in some aspects, but the advantages of the IX outweigh the positives of the X 10:1. Plus in my opinion even thought aftermarket support for the X is getting better all the time, no matter what you do with a IX someone has probably done before, so you wouldn't ever be having to test the waters and have the possibility of messing something up. Just my 2 cents

Thats a very good point i guess any car can go fast and any car brake down its how u drive it or how you built it but yea the weigh on the x is alot compare to the ix. I like ur comment bro I'll defiantly will consider this when ready to buy either or

Hahaha well I didn't write down all the pros and cons and then take the ratio and it ended up being 10:1 But I definitely think that there is nothing you can do to an X that you can't do to a IX or VIII, and I don't think it also applies the other way around, but I may be wrong. Plus, I think an Evo VIII or IX looks better than a X, but that's just a personal opinion

True bro the only thing i would buy a evo x will be bc its newer and also bc i would like to buy a new car but the evo 8 And 9 i love all about them. Realy if i buy a evo x then ill come by an evo 9 on the streets i dnt want to be like " i want that car " or can be the other way around . It sucks

At the end of the day, its a crap shoot buying a 9 year old car like an evo 9 and think it will be a reliable dd.

For a weekend warrior definitely an evo 9. For a daily driver, brand new evo x gsr or maybe a brand new 2014 with the better seats.

The above is your answer, it's up to you to accept it.

I have a non-tuned base Evo X MR and WRX's don't ever wax me EVER. It really depends on how much you want to put into the car and when.

Haha basically anything you can do to a VIII or IX can be done to an X as well It's definitely all opinion, just depends on which style he prefers, and how new of a car he wants to drive lol.

Bro thanks for this awsome comment so u say if i get an evo 9 for a DD wount be reliable im not planning to put no high numbers on the car. Thats what i was thinking its a 9 year old car and it might have problems that i know evo 9 have with that 4g63 but not thinking of putting money right away and also i dnt want the car to brake down on me rit away dnt get me wrong i like working on cars but it will be my only car if i buy the evo 9 for DD. Alot of ppl have told me evo x for DD more comfortable. I mean i do accept it bro

Yeah i seen evo x as fast as the 8 and 9s, but i dnt know why are alot of ppl are tradding their x for a 9 , they say bc of the ride and more aggressive evo 9 has compared to the x i guess it delends wat u want the car for rit? I seen both styles look good but i do want to feel to drive a new car. Well i guess what i know is that i dnt want the car to be a race car or to be beating on it. So that get me down to the evo x will be my best choice dammm never thought i would come down to this . If it wasent your guys help id never had this much help THANK YOU GUYS ^^^^^^
