Anyone using Radar Detector for avoiding cops/cameras?

I see some products at bestbuy like cobras and stuff... are these any worth of buying? I mean can i get away with speeding if I have those ? any brand or model in particular?

Any device with bluetooth capability can be used to combat cops/cameras such as escort live. I have the escort passport 8500 x50 and its saved my butt a few times already.

Just so you're clear, a radar detector will only detect radar & let you know. It is not a radar/laser scrambler, which sends a false speed back at whatever is shooting it at you. Also, radar detector & scrambler laws are different from state to state so it's best to check into that yourself.

Passport 9500ix was top rated windshield mounted radar detector for a few years, I bought one about 4 years ago and LOVE it. It has saved me countless times. With that said, driving responsibly is your best chance of not getting a ticket

valentine one is awesome, and has a very nice app to use with phone/tablet in car. Id also suggest getting a dash cam.
